This is an American client’s first yacht, and he has specified that it be American designed, American built and American powered. The yacht has been designed so that layouts may easily be modified as the family matures, thus giving the boat a longer than average service life expectancy.
Designed as a private family yacht, the vessel is not well suited for charter, other than to a similar family or two.
The owner shall have a full deck to himself, with a master stateroom aft, and a twin cabin for the two youngest children forward. There is a private owner’s hot tub aft. The forward cabin is designed to easily be converted into a private saloon with a personal galley, for the younger children once they have grow to an age when each would want a private cabin. A cabin on the main deck is designed for the 3rd and oldest child or possibly a nanny.
Guest accommodations are designed with extended family, or family friends in mind. Two choices are offered, one having a full beam VIP and two additional cabins for the children of adult guests. The second option is three equal cabins with a small guest saloon. With the choice of a full beam VIP + 2 staterooms, or 3 staterooms + a guest lounge, the client can assess for himself which layout best suits his personal intentions and use.
There are accommodations for 11 or 12 crew members in 7 cabins. The engineer and first officer have private cabins with private heads, and the captain’s cabin is appropriate for a couple. The large aft deck (which doubles as a touch and go helipad) is suitable for a variety of activities. The swim deck, with retractable extension, provides exceptional staging area for diving, skiing and other water sports. The wide aft staircase also serves as a seating area for spectators.
The upper deck features a second hot tub, as well as a generous central covered lounge that includes a barbeque area. The fwd area of this deck features port and starboard e-stations, which include two single stations for monitoring ship’s functions, Internet access and interactive gaming. The two fwd twin sun pads are equipped with retractable 32" LED monitors for similar activities, including private movie viewing under the stars. The designers anticipate the client’s family and guests would spend most fair-weather evenings on this deck.
